“Saubhagya Scheme” for Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) and Ministry of Power

Campaign period : Four months in 2018

Objective

Launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 25th September 2017, the campaign aimed at reaching out to remotest of places to spread information that, under this scheme,free electricity connections will be given to all households in rural areas and poor families in urban areas

Execution

Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana i.e. “Saubhagya” was one of government’s flagship schemes which came to us as aDAVP campaign.PM’s picture was a prominent part of the design. In fact, ‘Saubhagya’ scheme was propagated through a set of 6 campaigns. Executing an enormous outdoor campaign within a tight time schedule was a major challenge. A total number of 2145 hoardings were installed by us.We covered 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh, 15 districts in Rajasthan, 25 districts in Haryana and the entire Delhi. Multitude of design adaptations for different sized hoardings and their erection at so many sites were major activities which we accomplished with aplomb. The message was very well received among the masses. And the client expressed great satisfaction over the execution of the campaign.
